inherited an old brazillian handcarved octagon table and chairs with leather upholstry the history behind it is that it is very old and was shipped a very long way to its owner it has great detail and definition, but cant find anyhing like it or remotly close, anyone with any knowledge of these unique furniture pieces please contact me

Best advice is to take several digital photos of the furniture. Do a Yahoo search for "antique furniture identification", "antique furniture valuation", or "brazilian furniture" (include the quotation marks) to identify sites that may be able to help you. You can then send the photos to help with the identification or post the photos to some of the forums or discussion groups you will find.
