Saki is fermented rice, and often called "rice wine". Although, it's not technically a wine nor a beer. It is generally served warm, in a smaller bottle submerged in warm/hot water.
I find it is an acquired taste, though many westerners may not care for the taste. Much like traditional green tea seems somewhat bitter to some tasters, I think Saki falls into the same sort of category. Saki goes well with fish, but I prefer it best all by itself!

Sake is a beverage fermented from rice. Sake is not carbonated, is not even remotely related to gin, vodka or other spirits. Sake is generally between 15% and 17% alcohol.
In general, sake is not aged, and is meant to be consumed soon after purchase. If kept cold and dark, it will last six months to a year without degradation in flavor. There are exceptions, as some sake is deliberately aged. Try to buy a sake bottled within the last year, at least. Sake should be stored away from light and kept cool. Refrigeration is best, although not absolutely necessary

Sake is Japanese rice wine. It has very little alcohol (about a little under .08) and it is not very potent. It's usually consumed at night (during parties and special occasions) and is very warm when served.

Nihonshu or sake (sake is the general Japanese term for alcohol) is basically made of rice and water. Besides major brands, there are countless regional rice wines. The alcohol content of rice wine is about 10-20%, and it can be drunken cold or hot.

Hard to describe how it tastes, but the first place I tried it, it was great. Then I went to a really cheap Japanese restaurant (Im in Sydney Australia) and had some really awful tasting sake.

I havent tasted it myself but I hear it tastes terrible. It does have alcohol in it because it is a Japanese wine made from rice. As to its potency, I am not certain.

It's rice wine, it's properly served heated rather than chilled, and yes, it has quite a high alcohol content. Never- but NEVER - serve it chilled! Its taste is rather unique, and not particularly pleasant. And if one overindulges, one often awakes with a real bear of a hangover!

Sake is warm japanese rice wine. You take it in shots. It's pretty strong and tastes good! Go to a japanese steak house and try it out.

its a rice wine but its actually brewed(like beer) not fermented like wine, its alcohol content is usually 10-20 percent, as far as taste it varies like different beer brands some are made to served chilled some are not, they vary in price too
