It seems that a very good argument against eating meat can be made from a biblical stand point. The killing of animals and the eating of their flesh can be seen as a concession not an optimum spiritual mode of living. Before Adam and Eve supposedly sinned there was no death and only vegetable matter was listed as the foods they could eat. By this logic if you wanted to begin creating the Kingdom of God on earth you would begin by not killing anything, including animals.

Mine's would be Janet Jackson. It would be because she's so talented, a great singer and dancer. She's awsome! I would want to go to one of her concerts! She's beautiful! My daughter is so messy when it comes to eating. She is always getting ketchup on her clothes and I don't want her to ruin all of her new school clothes. I am a stain freak and I can't stand to see her clothes ruined. I wonder if I can use Scotch Guard on them and if so how often should I spray them? Are there any other products I can use to repell stains?

I really do not get on with my family (mum, dad and brother). Im 24 and the eldest and my parents always take my brothers side. He has brought several cars (hes 21) in his life. I havent even had one!

I want one now and my parents are saying no. I mean Im 24 and an adult! They just dont want me having any freedom. I just want to get out of this house and go off and live elsewhere! :(

help, a tad stressed out here. My wife is 15 weeks preggo's. On Friday, after a long day out and about (including gorging herself at a food festival), she came home at midnight and we discovered vaginal spotting upon unrination. Initially, it was a very small amount, but bright red.

We went to the emerg, doctor diagnosed it as "threatening to miscarriage". Checked her cervix, it was closed, baby's heartbeat was a bit higher than usual (180BPM'S). She had no cramping or fever, and was braver than anyone I've ever met.

All blood tests came back fine. Spotting subsided a bit yesterday, then stopped altogether this morning. But returned again this afternoon, but the consistency is different. Its a very small amount, darkish color and gooey. We're just waiting it out until we can see her doc on Monday. In the meantime, I've been consoling myself with bouts of nausea.


Any thoughts or experiences,

...and how can this be considered a sport? Is the skill in the drivers seat or under the hood? If you like car racing so much, aren't there better races out there? Not into motor sports, but it seems like F1, Baha, Long distance, etc. is just so much cooler. No? Racers actually jockeying for position and required to have skill vs. 500 laps of slow cars going in an easy circle? Boring!!!
