since ur young...just some exercise will burn it off. but within the next few years, i would start watching ur diet. all of those things u ate are basically just empty calories= they provide lots of calories with very little nutritional value. as an adult, i would defnitely limit it to one of those per day (although the bagel may not be that bad unless u slathered it with cream cheese)...instead eat more vegetables, fruits. fruits r a good way to substitute for dessert. start learning to read labels...then u will start getting an idea what ur limits r on foods like that. also keep in mind it's not just the calories in those foods, but the high fat and sugar content are just not very good for u in general. a lot of fat (especially trans fat= partially hydrogenated fats) will start hardening ur blood vessels, which is the basis of heart attacks and stroke. also the sugar content...keeping high sugar levels in ur body all the time could start setting u up for diabetes (especially if u have diabetic relatives). some people will say ur young, so it doesn't matter...but i think it totally does. plus u start developing bad eating habits and it'll make it more difficult to change them as an adult.

That all depends. If you're an active person and you burn more calories than you ingest, then no. Carbs are best for breakfast because we can burn them off throughout the day. For dinner, just cut back on the carbs and have some veggies or lean meat.

Although the BEST (healthiest) carbs come from the sugars in fruits. But if this cupcake/donut fest is only an occasional splurge, don't worry about it. We all need a break every once in a while.

I tend to eat a lot of carbs before I get my period (so that could be a reason), or you could be under stress, which makes you crave carbs. Like I said, don't freak out about it. If you think you're getting a "tummy" cut back on the sugars and choose some healthier foods. Even going for a walk after a meal can help tremendously.

Your mother could also be a hateful, jealous person who is trying to make you feel bad about yourself, though I hope this isn't the case . . .

That is some poor food choices not matter how old you are. You should have stopped after the bagel. Wasn't there some fruit or juice there to go with it.
