I teach high school students who are not easily motivated educationally and have difficulty finding direction in their lives. I was wondering if creating a lesson where the students are assigned the task of writing their own obituary would be appropriate. I would tell them that the focus is not how they died or at what specific age but what they were able to accomplish during their life time and what they would be remembered for. Is this lesson too morbid?

I am a virgin b choice because i want to know its right i take this beig step, but, i've been talking to this guy for a while and he asked me about sex and when i told him about me being a virgin he started rattling off about how he was 22, i'm 17 but i'll be 18 in a few months, and he expected sex to be part of his life. This has happened several times before and it's not like i blurt out "I'm a virgin" the first time we speak but if they ask i will be honest about it. Why do they freak out so much? Its not like i'm asking them to take it right then. I really liked this guy but he hasn't really spoken to me since the conversation. I don't think i did wrong by telling him and explaining to him that even though i could've had sex i chose not to because so many girls lose their virginity and it means nothing. I want my first time to mean something. If anyone has any helpful advice that would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to have to be ashamed of being a virgin or lie to get a date

I became an Avon Rep. about a month ago. Although I make 35% per campaign I still want to make more. Can someone tell me ideas to approch people... sometimes they won't hear me out. Some stand there and listen while I run out of words. I'm pretty sociable but I fear a negative response.

How can I get people to actually trust me, go home and give me a call. My only costumers are at stores ex. corners store, dry cleaners, resturants etc. On other words, I want to be a good Avon rep. and have progress in selling.

Would showing Mark campaigns to teens work?

Like they say. Rule #1. Costumers are always right.
Rule # 2. If they are wrong, refer to rule # 1.

Seen it alot in anime. Seen it happen ONLY between younger asians. Seems to be a Japanese thing more than a Chinense/Tai/Korean/etc. thing. All non asians are referred to as "roundeyes", which in my opinion has a derogatory connotation, but this reference seems to only happen within a group of asians. Asked the question before and I got stupid answers. Please don't be juvenile.

I just see it as a lack of common sense if they don't. I mean, they go really really fast, they arn't strapped into anything, and if they hit something, go flying, their head will burst open like a watermellon dropped from a rooftop!

I know it's the law in some states, but not all.
