Do you think that every motorcyclist should wear a helmet?

I just see it as a lack of common sense if they don't. I mean, they go really really fast, they arn't strapped into anything, and if they hit something, go flying, their head will burst open like a watermellon dropped from a rooftop!

I know it's the law in some states, but not all.

i really agree with you there,i think it should be illegal to not wear a helmet and/or motorcycle equipment

No, you should be able to choose. Think of it this way. Your driving down the interstate and for some reason have a wreck(get cut off, blow out a tire). You go skidding across the pavement at 60 mph (faster or slower).You hit the guard rial with your helment, this keeps your brain intact, but now your neck is broken and you will never walk again, wheelchair bound!! I would have rathered scattered my brains all over than live life depending on someone else for my every need.Besides, this is America, land of the free.

I think there should be a special truck lane and a special motorcycle lane would prevent a lot of accidents but since that is not possible it is always smarter to protect yourself. But I also believe in freedom of choice. Have a good one:-)

I think that it would be smart to, but I also think that it should be the driver/rider's choice whether or not if they wanted their head to split open like a watermelon if they hit the pavement
