My apartment building is over 30 years old. When I first moved into my apartment (even though the carpet was shampooed), there was still a stale oder of smoke from the previous tenant, but it wasn't enough of a problem to bother me. Now, however, the smoke from the upstairs neighbor bothers me intensely - even to the point of making my eyes tear! I've never smoked; yet I feel as if I'm breathing secondhand smoke, and it affects my throat. (I'm a singer.) I've tried fabreeze, oust, etc. to eliminate the oder, but to no avail. I'm assuming the smoke is somehow coming in through the walls, and my open sliding glass doors, but closing them is not an option - unless I don't want to breathe! Neither is moving! And I doubt if this person will quit smoking. Any suggestions?

I live with my boyfriend, and we now park my car in the garage, as opposed to the driveway. He says its a big deal that I now park in the garage. I wasnt doing it originally. Why does he think it is such a big deal? He says its a guy thing.

Recently, two terrestrial type planets have been found around type M stars using the method of gravitational lensing. In such system, large terrestrial planets take the place of Jovian planets. If this trend holds up as more such systems are studied, what does this imply for the the number of possible terrestrial planets in the Galaxy?

I have a two year old miniature schnauzer who's a complete brat. I dont know if all schnauzers are as hyper as he is. He can be sweet some times, but most of the time you can picture him as a 3 year old running loose around the house. He's wild! But I cant get rid of him. He's cuteness has won me over.

I know the lirics were written by Gus Kahn but little else. It was recorded before WW II. I seem to remember my parents telling me that it was two soldier friends and one had been killed in battle. Today people might think it was too loving to be about a friendship but I think back in those days men could express their deep bonding relationships without fear of being misunderstood. Any thoughts?
