You talk about them constantly to anybody. You compare things from other people to them, like height, weight, favorite color, etc. you imitate them in any way possible this could be but limited to the way they walk, manerism and facial expressions.

I don't think purchasing magazines, movies and CD's means you're obsessed with a celeb. That's basically just liking someone's work and supporting what they do. It's the healthier way of being a fan. I also don't consider having posters on your wall being obsessed either...unless you're 30 or 40 and married ;)
Now, if you have a celeb's name tattooed somewhere on your body. Then you may be obsessed. If you have a shrine in your home with photos and candles...then you may be obsessed.
Prime example and a true story (I still can't believe this girl fooled my former friend with this for three years). You are a cousin by marriage to a singer but not close enough to them that you are buds. You start claiming that you and this singer are real tight and that you eventually fall in love. You do know certain things because you are stalking them and seeing things while you are parked outside their house (or your cousin who is married to his brother tells you things). You claim to be traveling with this person and are with them at a video shoot. And you start planning out your wedding to them.
That story still makes me laugh to this very day. Lots more details but not enough room to tell you all.

I think u are obsessed with a celebrity if you look for info about them online ALL the time, u buy a magazine just because they are on the cover or featuring it in, you want to be like them (dress like them, do what they do (ex: smoking if they do, etc), etc). You think about them all the time. As for the music, you have that music as ringtone on your cell...for when u receive text messages.

I have been to Ronnie VanZAnts grave and have met his whole family. I have every skynyrd album on vinyl and evevy CD. I have anything and everything I can get my hands on. I have met skynyrd fans from all over the world. Long Live the Skynyrd band..

You cant stop thinking about them, you find their number on the internet, you stalk them at music awards and movie awards, go to every red carpet, sit outside their houses. you find their address, you break into their houses, and you stalk them on set, you send them letters and pictures and songs. Things like that.
