i am remodeling a bath and the floor is old wood, not that nice and just to save $ right now, I am thinking of painting it. Has anyone ever done this and with what kind of paint? Anything over the paint? Thanks.

How does the thinking behind that work?
WHY does shooting missiles at a district under some vague notion that's where the terrorists hang out, after first dropping pamphlets telling anyone who isn't a terrorist to get the hell out, have any chance of working?

And why are so many Amercians SO behind this? It makes no sense to me. I'd love it if somebody ACTUALLY defended this point of view without spewing a load of boo-yah militant kill-them-terrorists claptrap.

My husbands drinking has made me lose interest in sex. Without pissing him off what can I do. My body just has given up, I am going nuts and am out of ideas. I do not want to get it anywhere else so that is not am option.

I just started participating in my city's recycling program. The pamphlet they gave me says I can recycle "any recycleable plastic containers that did not originally contain motor oil, anit-freeze or any other hazardous materials." They don't take plastic grocery store bags though. The website for the recycling center says that they accept #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, and #7 plastics.
So, are zip lock baggies recyclable?

I have 3 outdoor cats and a dog. My dog refuses to eat his dogfood, so now I just buy a large bag of catfood for all of them, because he just eats it anyways. I have a loopy friend who told me that catfood will make my dog go blind? I think she is full of it. We compared the ingredients and they are very similar. Anyone know for sure?

In the past few days I have had these hours where I just feel REALLY sad. Nothing really drastic has happened lately. I got dissapointed yesterday....but I don't think it would make me this upset. What can i do to make myself feel better besides taking medications and visiting a counsler. I don't know if this is depression or not.

just wondering. I think he's a good actor even though i havent seen "Walk the Line" yet. He did a great job in "Gladiator" and "Signs" in my opinion. And do you strongly recommend "Walk the Line"? I've seen "Ray" (with Jamie Foxx) and i liked it, so mostly likely this movie is even better?

my husband got upset with me and came to the conclusion that he didn't want to be married to me. told me to go back to my moms in ut (we're in mt) i waited for him to calm down and work it out and when he didn't. i had to call my mom and tell her i needed to come home. he came back home after 2 days and a night of drinking, aplogized and begged me to just love him. when i talked to my mom the next day, she said it was still best for me to move back and let him work for getting us (i have a 17 mo old daughter) back. i've asked everyone in my life for help in making this decision because i don't feel that it is right for me to leave but am scared the same things will happen if i stay. he is now looking at it like i am letting my mom decide this for me. i'm not letting her decide it, shes been through it and is just looking out for me. what led up 2it was him going out drinking all night, not coming home, strip clubs. 4 him it's my sarcastic comments & him not feeling loved. what do i do?

My wife is 7 months pregnant and is suffering from really bad heartburn. She has tried tagament, Rolaids and other over the counter drugs - to no avail!
Sure, there are much worse things she could have right now - but it is really making her life miserable and keeping her up at night.
Anyone have any helpful advice?
