I have sprayed them and they died. Then it rained and they came back. I have tilled them up and they have come back. Can anyone please tell me how to get rid of them permanently? Thank you in advance.

You want to use Roundup when bermuda is dormant. Use MSMA in the summer. It will take several treatments, but you can get rid of the burr grass. Also, don't mow your grass very short. If you mow short, you kill the "good" grass that will eventually choke out burr grass.

You have a rotten problem, but it is one that can be beaten. I got the most of mine with repeated treatments one summer. I had to follow up the next year with a couple of treatments. No problems since.

After tilling and spraying did you rake them up and throw them in the trash? Rake up all of the roots because some may have been missed with the poison. You may need to rake after a rain or 2 to get all of the roots. I remember my oldest brother raking stinging nettles which hurt bad when you were barefoot. He told me to step into what he had raked. I thought it would be like grass or leaves but did I get a shock! Both feet were on fire for a long time! Mom heard me yelling and came out and made me rub the nettles on him because he knew what he was doing and I was just 4. So I definitely know why getting the stickers out of the yard is so important!!

I have always pulled them up by their roots and it helped. Tilling them will not fix the problem cause it just restarts their growth...
Never heard of using salt??
