I met what seems like a nice woman on the net, but I know also that there are scams. In the USA, many companies will do inexpensive checks on USA citizens. Can't find anyone in China that does.

and I dont mean how to do it.. i mean as a Canadian dating an American, you may know it is very difficult to get citizenship etc in each others countries.. so I am wondering if anyone has any advice or has experienced a similiar situation.. it would be really nice to be able to be together?

All my life, my mom has told me that he is dead...but she changes some of the details every now and then. The only thing that has stayed the same is this...they were only dating when she became pregnant with me, he was a Marine, he has two other daughters, and his mother knows about me but doesn't claim me for some odd reason. I would love to know more about him...a date of birth, date of his death, just small things like that; the only problem is that I have had the hardest time trying to find any information on him...I have always been horrid at collecting information:). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Who else is seeing this situation heating up into a really REALLY huge mess? Isn't this the beginning of World War III? (not that it isn't already a huge mess)

What do you FEEL about this? Are you trying not to think about it and just go on like it's every other day...or are you scared for your kids, your family and your loved ones?

I feel a sense of 'impending doom' but I also have inner peace -- whatever happens I believe that ultimately Love will prevail. But it will probably get a whole lot worse before it gets better.

I love the New England area. Where is a nice place to live that is not to far from everything, but also is not a big city or suburb. I guess a small city with good schools would be great.

It has always been easier for me to type with all capital letters so I wouldn't have to push the shift key to capitalize stuff here and there. Besides that, it is easier for me to see.(I'm old) Where can I read about the ettiquette for writing on the computer screen, etc?
