A stingy old lawyer who had been diagnosed with a terminal illness was determined to prove wrong the saying, "You can't take it with you."

After much thought and consideration, the old ambulance-chaser finally figured out how to take at least some of his money with him when he died. He instructed his wife to go to the bank and withdraw enough money to fill two pillow cases. He then directed her to take the bags of money to the attic and leave them directly above his bed. His plan: When he passed away, he would reach out and grab the bags on his way to heaven.

Several weeks after the funeral, the deceased lawyer's wife, up in the attic cleaning, came upon the two forgotten pillow cases stuffed with cash.

"Oh, that darned old fool," she exclaimed. "I knew he should have had me put the money in the basement."

I'm 16. This 13 year-old girl is pretty much in love with me. I've known her since I was 8 and our families are pretty close. I'm trying to be nice and telling her I don't like her, but now she's telling her friends things like "I'm heartbroken by a guy who doesn't even know he did it. Well im 18 and have graduated and 8 months ago my fathers job had us relocated from Connecticut to Virginia, my parents bought me a jeep in replacement for my old car since we couldnt bring it to VA, my plan is to get my liscence and my parents told me when i do i can get the title to the jeep. I want to move back to CT because 1. thats where i have grown up and 2. i want to take a post grad class at my old school. I feel like if i do move out id be stabbing my parents in the back, should i move out? and if i do would it really be stabbing my parents in the back?
