Neighbor #1 - He's been building his house for the past 4 years. Nothing big. He never got any permits to build. He ran his water line from the house (washing machine, etc.) so that it will drain into our lake. He thinks he can do this without getting caught. He had someone do the electric and plumbing that didn't have licenses. He said he is planning to rent it out when it's done.
Neighbor #2 - She is thinking about turning him in for not having permits but feels sorry for him because he has worked on this for a long time. Although they are friends with him and know him good enough I do not. I told her she should but she wanted other people's opinions on the subject first. I told her I knew where I could get a lot of different ones.

If someone is drowning and I could save them with a thought and I just watch them drown, is it ok because I didn't push them in the water? If God is in control of EVERYTHING how can there be ANYTHING that God is not held accountable for. If I put a gun to someone's head and pull the trigger God could jam the gun if he wanted to because he can do ANYTHING right? So if the gun fires and they die, how does God escape all responsiblity for it?

Can a president say "I didn't make the people poor. I just allowed them to starve to death while money to feed them sat in the treasury" and we just go "OK that makes sense."?

Okay so I recently got into a car accident, I was sent to get an MRI, and that's when they informed me, that I have a herniated disc and a protruding disc on my lumbar (lower) part of my back, and that I have 3 swollen disc and one herniated disc on the cervical (upper where my neck is) part of my back. I am going to see the orthopedic this upcoming Wednesday. I have a lawyer already because they didn't want to pay my medical bills when I called myself, well now that they found out I have a lawyer they agreed to pay my medical bills, but now I'm going to sue the guy for the accident, if anyone knows I'm just curious, how much does a settlement for something like this kind of injury will I get back approx. a range. Thanks!

I usually like to send thank you notes after interviewing for a job, but I recently had a company spring a four-person interview team on me. I had only been in contact with one of the team members previously - so her name is the only one I have.

Do I write a note just to her? It seems like I should make some mention of the other three.

what about people who tried to be safe? nothing is foolproof (except abstinance). and just because someone had sex doesnt make them a bad person! it takes two, so why doesnt the woman always get looked down apon? and why should that woman be forced to carry a baby that NEITHER person wants to full term just so someone else can adopt it, where there are already THOUSANDS of children in the system not getting adopted? having a baby is a lot of money and a lot of stress (on the body and mind) and it isnt fair that all of these religious fanatics are trying to force their views and opinions on everyone, even if they dont agree.

why cant we just agree to disagree, and if you want/need an abortion, get one, and if you're against it, DONT?! why take a right away from someone just because someone else doesnt agree?
