I can't seem to find a favor I really don't think is a waste of money... the best ideas I've found are carmel apples, tulip bulbs, saltwater taffey (we live in Charleston, SC and we are having a very Charleston wedding), and "Mint to be together" mint tins. What do you think and can you think of any other inexpensive, interesting favors?

What should I get my bridal party? I'm thinking something unique, I've got a 50's style to the wedding... Maybe a Michael Buble CD... I'm lost on presents to the groom's men....

The analog speedometer in my 89 Nissan Maxima suddenly dropped to zero. Later, when I started from a stop and reached about 40, it jumped from zero to 55 or 60. Sometimes it jumps from there all the way to the right and rests there. Sometimes it jumps back from there to 85 or 90 mph, regardless of my real speed, then, at times, it flips back to 55 or 60, then, when I slow down, it registers my approx real speed, then when I slow to about 35, it drops to zero. On occasion, when I start from a stop, it will gradually rise with my speed and show my real speed for a while, then go crazy again. Is there a sensor in the speedometer that is malfunctioning?

Well I'm reasonably good-looking guy with a good sense of humour, but I'm still single. I have lot of friends who are girls and somehow I always tend to become their best friends, someone they tell all their secrets, fantasies, and crushes to. No, I'm not gay and don't look like one.
It has happened a lot of times that these girls have fallen for all kinds of Tom-Dick-Harry, but not me, they will fall for my bestfriends, but not me. Even after they come to know that I liked them they continue their friendship with me, their boyfriends feel sorry for me and never seem to mind when these girls hang-out with me more than they do with them! I have been in love thrice now(I'm 24), and all the times the girl I liked fell for my best friends. This leaves me hurt, and I'm going crazy thinking about it. I don't understand that despite being so likeable and being able to build a lot of trust and respect why I'm still single?

Any mature and objective insights are welcome.

Well I have started to loose weight and I am extremely over weight and I was wondering if any one else here as lost an extreme amount of weight and if so and you have before and after pictures do you think you could send them? I am curious as to how a amale reacts to loosing weight oh yes and how much did you loose. I know woman who have lost a lot of weight but lets face it men and woman are completely different if a woman looses 20 pounds you notice if a male looses 20 pounds you don't normally notice. Now I'm not saying 20 pounds is a lot I'm saying like losing 100 or 200 pounds or something if you could send me the pictures it would be greatly appriciated and possibly help motivate me to loose weight in having a better idea on how I might look. I have seen more than one person claim that truth is relative. While I've seen excellent reasoning for truth being absolute, I have yet to see even average reasoning for truth being relative. So here is my challenge - can you show, with sound reasoning and logic, that truth is relative?
