LUSH! they released some new foundation style makeup, i purchased it round 4 weeks in the past.. Im hooked. I blend it with my moisturiser to skinny it right down to artwork as a foundation, and then better lower than eye's I both note it because it comes, or blend with a number of my eye cream. Its magnificent. and they don't try on animals, infact this month or week, they're raising expertise for animal finding out.. and there is a petition you could signal and also you should get presents for doing it (Badge, pen, and such like)

Your best bet is to either go to Sephora and ask a sales person to help you find a shade or go the high maintenance (and typically better road) and mix your own shade. If you decide to create your own foundation do remember one foundation a SINGLE shade above and another a SINGLE shade below and mix from there and applt with a brush as to your finger as it will create a more even color. As for your redness, if its in your cheeks leave it, it probably looks glowy and healthy, if its something you don't like or rosacea-esq, get some tone perfecting cream, its green pigments will neutralize the red.

Try Mary Kay. The foundations go on smooth and light and stay on even in hot weather. There are many different shades to choose from and a good consultant can even match your "underlying tones." If you want, you can contact me at pinkdiva826@yahoo.com for more info.

I would go to a department store counter or Sephora...Sephora does much less of the hard sell I've found. You may just have to mix colors...I'm a plain old white girl and have never found "a" foundation that matched, I always have to mix.

Try Bare Minerals powder foundation, it's great. You can blend two or more shades together to get the perfect shade for you. You can buy it at Ulta, Sephora, online, and they have a couple of stores.

Try Mary Kay® Medium-Coverage Foundation. It comes in 20 different shades and all of my customers say it's the only foundation that you really can't tell you're even wearing because it blends in so well.
It provides stay-true, stay-put color.

Go to a department store makeup counter (one of the expensive ones) that puts makeup on you. They'll find a good match for you. Most of them will give you a little sample of it; then you can take it to a more inexpensive store to match it.

Go to the pharmacy. Loreal has a card you hold up to your skin to see what shade matches. My skin color fits between two shades so I mix them for a custom color.
