Well I'm reasonably good-looking guy with a good sense of humour, but I'm still single. I have lot of friends who are girls and somehow I always tend to become their best friends, someone they tell all their secrets, fantasies, and crushes to. No, I'm not gay and don't look like one.
It has happened a lot of times that these girls have fallen for all kinds of Tom-Dick-Harry, but not me, they will fall for my bestfriends, but not me. Even after they come to know that I liked them they continue their friendship with me, their boyfriends feel sorry for me and never seem to mind when these girls hang-out with me more than they do with them! I have been in love thrice now(I'm 24), and all the times the girl I liked fell for my best friends. This leaves me hurt, and I'm going crazy thinking about it. I don't understand that despite being so likeable and being able to build a lot of trust and respect why I'm still single?

Any mature and objective insights are welcome.

Consider asking the girls that are your friends for some feedback. Don't make yourself sound despirate but just tell them that you are interested in finding someone to have a real relationship with and ask for some advice. They certainly know you better than anyone here and will gladly help give you some insight. It may just be that the right girl hasn't crossed your path yet.

No chances are nothing is wrong with you-it's them. My brother is the exact same way. I'm pretty sure that it's because you surround yourself with the same people and they all know you inside and out. Go out and be yourself-meet different people. Go to an event you wouldn't normally go to and not with your girlfriends but with your guy friends. Bottom line-don't change. You'll find someone that appreciates, loves, and adores the real you.

there's nothing wrong with you at all! Some people do take longer than others to find someone they want a relationship with.Don't sweat it honey and just go with the flow. Someday you will find a girl who makes you happy and you want to be with forever. For now just try to live out your life to it's fullest potential. Good luck!

Change your circle of female friends
Don't be Dear Abbey anymore cos that might be the put off, ......you know too much about everyone which can be off putting to the girls.
Being "Dear Abbey" might appear too effiminate to the girls, ....most men don't do it. By doing it you make yourself to be one of the "girls".

you send out very strong "FRIEND" vibes.

you probably allow the females in your life to control the relationship.

look at what they've been going for romantically and learn from that- be a challenge, don't be controlled, let your inner STUD emerge...get out of the friend zone...

You have to show your girlfriend at very begining that you are inerested sexually to her as well. You want to be her friend but she has to know that you are interested in something more than friendship and if she is interested...
