Somewhat. I know I'm not the smartest person in the world, or even close to it. But I would consider myself to be clever.

I seem to be able to outsmart myself, and as I don't want to outsmart any other I'd have to say; no; I'm not. Perhaps I'm clever enough to enjoy the time I have and put down the chains of misery that have accumulated in the passage of my life. I wonder if the would be considered clever. Interesting question, hard to answer straight up!

I do. And the only way to enjoy being clever is to interact with another clever person. Smart and witty jokes and turns of phrase are lost if the people you always interact with do not understand them. It is best to find an intellectual partner in crime, and to sharpen each other's wit. :)

I don't know the context with which you assess the issues that relate to performance as seen within the self. There is something contradictory embedded in there, within the theory that raises the very question it attempts to obligate to an engagement of standards. In most integral displays of distinction, by their own assessment, there is an exactitude that must be relegated to a different set of expectations with regards to 'delivery.'

How I can answer that question if I am not judgmental toward myself? You are a judge in this case.
