For anyone who doesn't know, the legal drinking age is 21. The following is a comprehensive list of other countries with a legal drinking age of 21+.

Egypt
India (certain states)
Malaysia
Nepal
Sri Lanka

The only other countries with even stricter laws are Islamic countries that ban alcohol entirely. Most civilised countries say 16 or 18.

Why is the USA so strict? Is it a christian thing? How well enforced is the law? Are there any plans or calls to lower the age?

I work in a hospital and I am always amazed at what kids will do to keep their parents out of a nursing home. Do most people realize you don't live in the hospital? We don't keep people their because they are elderly, we treat acute illness and then send mom and dad or grandpa on to live with the kids or to a nursing home or some other pre arranged home. I think some kids will go to any extent to keep the money their parents saved. Kids want it for themselves. They see it as their inhearitance and will go to any extreme to keep them out of anything that cost money they saved for their old age. What is your plan for your parents?

Can you make Kool-Aide with a carbonated beverage? I tried once when I made it in a single serve glass, and it foamed past the rim. A 12 oz. can in a 22 oz. cup= more than 10 oz. of foam! I am begining to think that both of them are highly reactive and that kool-aide mix is made with carbon dioxide, how else could it react that violently? Please post your thoughts.

Oh God, please tell me that there is a solution. Well, this is stupid, but I know I am definately not the only person who faced this problem. Well, in two words - I applied the fake sun tan "Neutrogena MicroMist" and it came out SO-O-O-O BA-A-AD!!! Spots, uneven, etc. Please, give me an advise what to do. I look like a clown:( Thank you!
