Hi I am very interested in moving to Denver. Ive been there before but only for a few days.
I have lived at Sea Level on the East Coast and Im wondering if the move to a semi-arid dry place would make my skin crack ?
Im 29 years old and female and don't wnat to look old before my time.
Is the dryness in Denver that bad ?
How do you deal with it ?
The humidity in NYC right now is 98% and hot and rainy.
Sick of this weather ! And I think Im breaking up with my fiance so I really need new change of scene.
All advice appreciated ! :_)

My father has a credit card debt for about 4,500 from I am guessing over 6 to 7 years ago. He is receiving letters threatening a lawsuit. I was wondering if any one knows the legal time limit in California to collect a debt? I was also wondering what a lawsuit can do, he and my mother a disabled, and live off a state check which they barely get by on. I already give them money and cannot afford to pay this bill. I am trying to figure out what legal rights we have in case we do have to go to court.

Would you change your race if it was the only way you could be with them? Not because they were racist, but because of some crazy, out of this world circumstances, it was the only way you could be together. Or is your ethnicity so much a part of who you are, that you couldn't change it for anyone?

I made a hotel reservation in May for my July vacation. I cancelled the reservation in May (same month) and got the cancellation confirmation #. However, I just found out my credit card was being charged the no show fee by the hotel. Unfortunately, I lost the cancellation confirmation# (two months already). Honestly, I did cancell the reservation back in May. My question is how can I get refund without the cancellation confirmation#?? Your soonest response is highly appreciated. Thanks

Ive been dating this guy I met at the feed store for about 7 days and hes from mexico.

Well Last night he brought over 2 girls and when I questioned him he said that it is custom and normal in his country for him to do this, so I agreed. I know I am pretty so I am sure he knows hell never find any girl like me,,,, but is it true what he said? Is this normal? Has anyone heard of this tradition before?

I got a cashiering job at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago & have enjoyed working w/the customers. Problem is the management couldn't care less about their employees. (Example: Yesterday I stepped on a nail and it went about an inch into the arch of my foot (OUCH!). Today I still couldn't walk and went to the Dr. for a tetanus shot and to have it looked it. Was told not to work tonight since I stand at a register for 6 hrs/night. I called mgmt and asked if I could use a stool @ my register so I could still work. They said "absolutely not" since I hadn't hurt myself at work & it wasn't a worker's comp issue. They told me to just "lean" for the night. So I took the night off without pay. Gees!
The new Target opening soon is hiring cashiers. Does anyone know if they treat their employees better? I've never worked in a place where the employees are treated like this.
I've looked *everywhere* for an evening typing position w/no luck. The work @ home jobs just seem like scams to me.

Ok global warming is becoming a problem... with all of the polution in the air and so on... However is it as big a problem as Al Gore says? Yes polution is terrible,but will we all become like the planet Venes one day?

In the 1980's scientist feared of a coming global ice age,but know they fear of a global warming greenhouse disaster. Polution may have increased the effects of this period of global warming, but it is just a period. Besides warmer tropical temperatures make plants grow= more oxygen.
