As soon as I can after realizing one is coming, I try to get a popsicle or ice cube and hold on the area. It works better than anything I've ever tried! If you catch it early, there won't even be enough to see.

There is no cure for cold sores. Cold sores are a virus. Only the symptoms can be treated.

This isn't a natural cure but it works garunteed. Use preparation H. I am serious. Many pharmacist recomend Abreeva but this works just as good if not better. Think about it preparation H shrinks the hemmeroid and it will shrink your cold sore.

I don't know any natural cures but I do know if you talk with your doctor he/she can give you a perscription for coldsores. It can reduce your coldsore by 4 days or prevent one from appearing if you can detect it before it develops. I would also recommend Carmex ($.88 @ Wal-Mart). You can also prevent one from appearing if you place ice over it when you feel one beginning to develop. I have a problem with coldsores too and I've tried to find everyway of eliminating it!
