Ive been dating this guy I met at the feed store for about 7 days and hes from mexico.
Well Last night he brought over 2 girls and when I questioned him he said that it is custom and normal in his country for him to do this, so I agreed. I know I am pretty so I am sure he knows hell never find any girl like me,,,, but is it true what he said? Is this normal? Has anyone heard of this tradition before?

WRONG ! That is not the Mexican custom to have a girlfriend and then get together with 2 girls . The normal Mexican custom called Decision Fest where the man decides who will be the girlfriend . That is to have 5 girls come over on Monday and each night one of the girls is asked to leave. By Friday there is just one left. On Saturday the last girl leaves and the real girlfriend shows her stuff . On Sunday the man makes his decision. He keeps the girlfriend or he leaves her for good and takes the Friday girl to be his girlfriend.
Decision Fest is a time honored tradition in Mexico . If your boyfriend is not honoring the Festival properly , you should leave him immediately and sign up a Decision Fest with another man and see if you can compete.

I'm sorry to be blunt but that is complete crap. There is no such thing as that. Someone who thinks they deserve more than one person is someone who needs to think again. You should really think about your relationship with this guy. If he's willing to bring these other girls over right in front of you and say it's some custom of his so he can have a little something on the side, I really don't think he's worth your trouble at all. That is obscenely egotistical. You sound like a nice person and you shouldn't be taken advantage of like that.

I must say that I completely LOL when I read your question. He11 no that's not normal!!! Mexican women will beat their mans A$$ for cheating, trust me I lived in a neighborhood full of them, worked with them and had a few Mexican friends. It is definitely not a tradition. Well it is a nationwide male tradition...it seems to happen everywhere. If your cool with it an into then have fun, if not then he's playing you like a fiddle!!!

well im from central america and my granfather used to cheat on my grandma all the time and my mom has half brother and sisters and most she has never met...but that was back in the day its the year 2006 and what he is say is bull crap you shouldnt tolerate it if he really likes you and respects you then he would stop this "tradition" of his if he doesnt want to stop this "tradition for you or understand then his not respecting you or considering your feelings and then you should dump him and tell him if he likes this "tradition" then go back to mexico or jus find another women that wouldnt mind to be disrespected and cheated on

You are so naive, my husband is from Mexico as well, It is not in his culture, it is being a man. Have you thought of why he may be doing this? If you put your foot down he would not treat you like that, but as long as you continue to let him use you, he will. There is no tradition, and he sounds like a loser for even using an excuse like that.

ok i can answer this goin with easiness ..hell im Mexican ...and let me say yes some people from mexico consider themselves very macho...**** thats why my mom got divorced from my dad cause he was always cheatin on her cause to them is ok for the guy to cheat..woman on the other hand have to stay home and well u pretty much gotta do what the guy tells u ... im not like that but it is true what ur boyfriend says...hes dad even feels the same way ..so u are goin to get cheated on and hes goin to put ur morals down ..so hopefully u'll look somewhere else....

have you ever read any books on Saudi Arabia. Try the book called Princess, by JEan Sasoon, or something. thats a sad book. but i'm not sure about down in Mexico. plus it usually has to do with their religion, not thier customs. customs are usually derived from religion. i think you should make sure if he's telling the truth. if you find out he's not, tell him to get lost.

Well here is your sign, He is from Mexico, they are all jerks and need to go back.
It is not right for any man to cheat on a woman and vise versa. Just because he is from a different country does not give him this right, dump him and find an american man.

it is normal in your country to end the relationship OR not be intimate with him OR get your own multiple couples OR react so strongly that you might get in trouble. NO NO NO, unless you are cool with an open relationship then, cheating is cheating (look it up in the dictionary) in any language it is a form of disrespect. you are worth more than that. hold your ground and send him back to HIS country for that type of a loving relationship
