For a 54 year old, single retired person with only a $1200 income each month to cover rent, food, Rx, etc. to live? Preferably someplace warm. I have close to 25k savings also. Two ex-wives pretty much emptied everything else.

i miss the band brand new they had two really great albums, the first one was kind of punk and real up beat, and the second album deja entendeu was so different and great. this was a band with great talent!!! where are they!!!!?????

You've heard of homophobia I'm sure, but as a gay man who has encountered name-calling and harrassment, and was even beat up once by str8 guys, I think I've become somewhat heterophobic, but only towards men.

When I see a really macho str8 guy I automatically cringe inside and get scared. I don't get scared that he'll beat me up or anything, because quite frankly I'm very built and don't act flamboyant at all, you'd never know I was gay in the first place. I still just get this fear whenever I'm around really macho str8 men, maybe I'm afriad that they'll find out and in return they'll be HOMO-phobic.

I don't know, any suggestions? I have like one or two str8 guy friends, but they're very open minded and not the "meat-head/macho" types anyway.

Oh, and if you're an ignorant A$$wipe that would like to say something like, "Why don't you just turn str8 and be normal?" Then save it, I've encountered much more harrassment from this world than you could dish out in a couple sentences.

When something unpleasant happens to me, the load that I have over my shoulder gets heavier. What I mean is that those events that made me angry or sad, are constantly attacking me in my mind and I live the same episode over and over. It can be something that happened 10 years ago, but I may still cry as soon as I remember. It can be also something that irritated me years ago, but the resentment is still there destroying me. This situation makes me really unhappy and I swear that those around me don't feel any good either. This is not something that I can analyze and say, "Ok, I am going to change because these feeling are harmful." The feelings are just embedded in my soul. If I have 500 reason to be sad and angry today, just imagine in a few more years. I used prayed for my internal peace, to learn to forget and forgive, but the miracle didn't occur.
