i want to send my son to playgroup next year but i hav no idea how to go abt..i want it to be near my home ...Choa chu Kang..anyone got any suggestions...

any of the PAP centres will have one, if not, there are other private groups like Appletree who does too. Both my nieces and nephews are in these groups.

My church has a playgroup and you don't have to be a member to join. You might want to try there. Dance Studios usually have playgroups with the parachute and ball, tunnels that type of thing for them to play in. I am not sure what is available in Singapore but you may want to try that first. Churches usually are no cost to you. Good luck and have a great time :0)

Try starting your own. A playgroup is the kind of thing you take your child to and you play with him or chat with the other parents. Not a drop-off situation (like daycare). You can start an MSN group. go to meetup.com. or do it the old fashioned way and hang up flyers where other parents will see them. Good luck.

Try a local Park district if you have one. They have many camps for young children. Try different things: indoor sports, outdoor activities, hey maybe even arts and crafts! You'll be doing good for your child by letting him explore and develop likes and dislikes.
