1) Right-click the desktop "MY COMPUTER" icon and then PROPERTIES

2) Click START, CONTROL PANEL, SYSTEM

Both will get you to the same place: a screen that shows you your OS version!

right-click on the "My Computer" thing and go to "properties" it says your computer's os.... also new computers with legal copies come with a remote to change the chanel
