I see a lot of post saying god is for this and against this - because the bible says so. Why so lazy? If it's your immortal soul on the line why stop at the bible - why not investigate other religious doctrines or spiritual texts and scientific texts? Wouldn't this just lead to a broader understanding of the world and it's people and God? If you are still so sure you are right after this study that you can speak for the creator of the Universe, then you will have some credentials to back up the claim. Isn't just deciding you're right because of one book or one translation of a book a bit narrow minded? My studies have convinced me even more of the existence of god (this includes studies of the latest scientific evidence) and even more that people who claim to speak for god are borderline nuts.

When singers sing live on stage, is the earpiece that they wear for listening to themselves sing?

I've always wondered why singers wear an earpiece when they sing on stage. Are they listening to themselves sing, or are they listening to the lyrics in case they forget the words?

What causes Watery eyes while wearing prescription glasses?

my eyes starts watering after 5 mins. of me wearing my prescription lens glasses. My lenses are focused right, it doesn't strains my eyes out, so Im puzzled as to why my eyes just juts out water like the Niagara falls. There's gotta' be some reason to my ailment, someone help! Any doctors out there? Also, whenever I have the air conditioner on in my car, my eyes starts watering too! Could it be the chemicals or the freon in the A/C that my eyes are sensitive to? I care about my eyes, its my favorite sense and the most important one for a painter/artist like me!

Honda CB450 seat removal?

My husband just bought an '83 CB450SC with a ripped up seat. He bought a repair manual (Clymer), but there isn't any info about seat removal. Can someone help him (and me) out with a "how-to" on removing the seat.
