What? Actually, he did what Adam and Eve (the first human beings) could not do. He resisted satan's temptations. Adam and Eve did not. Therefore, he qualified to rule. He was placed into Mary's womb by God the Father (through no intercourse of course) and his earthly father (non-biological) was Joseph.
He was born to teach the gospel, was murdered, came back to life and qualified to rule, to be the example of leading a perfect life and obeying God, the Father. Also, to amend for our sins, our maker/creator dying to give us the ability to repent of our sins and eventually qualify as He did to rule the soon-coming Kingdom of God.
And to the above answer-Eve did not qualify, and the flood killed all but the people aboard the ark. So, Jesus Christ's lineage is linked from Ruth and Boaz, then to Jesse, then to David (that wrote Psalms) all the way to Jesus Christ himself. So Jesus' royal bloodline extends to even King David and the families previous to that.

God almighty is Jesus' Father, he transfered Jesus' life from heaven into the womb of Mary to be born a perfect man. Joseph, his step-father was from the line of David giving Jesus the legal right to king of God's kingdom promised through David's line. Being God's Son made him also High Priest in heaven.

The genealogy of Jesus is that of Mary, his mother only. The genealogy of Joseph is not the genealogy of Jesus. You can trace the genealogy of Jesus all the way back to Adam.
