How do I compress a 3gb movie file with Windows Media Encoder?

Ive done it before, but i forgot. I was able to choose how big the file would be like 100mb

please stick with media encoder because ive done it on that before and i want to stick with it

There special encoders that are able to compress files, try search one called "VirtualDub", it's free, and compresses most of movie formats
