There are lots of friendly Christian churches almost everywhere. Many offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups and community-outreach activities at various times throughout the week, in addition to the traditional Sunday-morning services. Look in your phone book or newspaper, or try Google Maps (type in "churches near", and your location).
Church isn't only about worshipping God; it's also an opportunity to support each other and make new friends. Won't you join us this Sunday?

I do go to church every sunday, and i don't get all my information from church , no one can get enough in only a couple of hours on Sunday, it has to be all week long if you are serious about learning about God, i study every day and liston to web sites that have ministers preaching all day if i wanted, and some days i do,and do this at the same time, to try and help others if i can, God Bless you

Most people want answers without being in a biased environment where they feel pressured. It takes a very brave or socially extroverted person to step amongst a hundred or more people of a single religion or community and ask questions. Yahoo! Answers is remote; it's a good way of getting answers to awkward or inflammatory questions without having to face the answerer at the grocery store the next day. ;)

Yeah - when will churches start paying taxes and stop being a burden on the American Tax Paying public?
When will churches get the flock out of politics?
When will churchers cease thinking their morality is the rule and not the exception.

Don't let some of these answers discourage what you are trying to accomplish. Which I'm sure they are not. Keep up the good work and maybe one person at a time you will bring more believers to Christ.

If I were gay and wanted to worship God with you, would you welcome me into your church or feel some need to shame me instead of allowing me to just glorify God in the same way others do.

Why would I want to spend time with people who will try to convince me of a falsehood. I have my own beliefs and set of ethical standards that I try ti adhere to.
