The bible seems quite clear. Divorce is wrong. If you have to divorce, then remarriage is adultery. Sure, there is the Pauline Privilege and the Petrine Privilege (extreme cop-outs if you ask me) but those would not apply if you are both christians.

Why do we allow christians to get divorced and remarried? If we do believe that the bible is the word of God, then why do we selectively ignore what we want? How do we know which sections to follow ans which ones to ignore?

I mean, this happens all of the time. I feel that I have a good taste in movies. Why do they pick apart all of the good ones? Some recent examples: Nacho Libre, Click, The Benchwarmers. I loved all of these movies this year, and yet they all recieved poor reviews. Maybe I should be a movie critic? Ha!!

I have a 20 month (1 year 8 month) old american staffordshire terrier (female). She lives in our house and she is really great. We all love her as much as we can and she loves us too. We live in a house with quite a large fenced garden and just 5 meters from forest where we take her for walks. She doasn't bark a lot, only when somebody rings the door or makes a strange noise (rarely). When she is out in the garden she does not bark at people or dogs that walk by the fence. She is very friendly to all people and animals (even cats). What irritates me is the fact that she always backs down and subordinates herself whenever a dog barks on her. She was once attacked and bitten by a german sheppard when she was 4 months old and we thought that she will have fear from other dogs from now on but she does not. She loves to play with other dogs but when she is "attacked" or barked at, she always flees a couple of meters and subordinates herself. That happens even to poodles or chiuauas and such

I know the PS3 will be more powerful with more advanced technology, but I'm very attracted to the XBOX live component of the 360. I've never actually played on XBOX live, but it seems really cool. I own a PS2 and still play it, but the online part of it isn't so great. I don't know if the PS3 online play will be any good. Are the technical benefits of the PS3 worth more than the online play of the 360?

I'm talking about the majority,who entered illegally but later became legal,through marriage or other ways.All of a sudden ppl hate illegal immigrants,but are claiming legal immigrants are okay.Why,when most of them came here illegally also?Why shouldn't the ones here now have the same chance as all those used -to-be illegals?Can someone explain the difference in the two,when some just did it earlier than others?It's okay for a person to stay here cause they became legal 5mos.ago,but not one who's still illegal...even if they came over illegally together?

I'm 16 and I go to Portugal every year and made friends with this boy who I really like, also 16. He also goes every year to Portugal at the same time as me and at the same complex. about Parris Island Sc. Marine Boot Camp. If you have went here or know anything about it, then anwer me this.........is it extremely tough? I know someone who got hurt when he was there by a Drill Instructor. I was told that they cant be hit unless it is in some kind of training. And he wasnt. He also go tcellulitis becuase of the wound.
