Respect for life, of course they're very religious, well unborn life at least, born life, they can wait until your at least eighteen then sent you off to war, the whole thou shall not kill thing, well whatever, lets move on.
Protecting the constitutional rights, spying on Americans, detaining people without access to justice, and then sending kids to war, on the premise of protecting the same liberties and rights.
The budget, spending the American people money? Bush ever heard of a veto?

My man has a female friend and they call and text each other all the time. He gets mad when I check his phone and he erases the texts he sends. I don't mind that they are friends but I feel they should cut down on the texting and calling a little bit. Am I being insecure?

Not too long ago someone wanted to get into an argument over whether or not the Bible was the infallible word of God. She believed it was. Instead of going with the yes/no format, I simply stated that it's a moot point, when the tool used to interpret the Bible (the reader's mind) is certainly fallible. It's the reason the Bible can be used to defend and condemn violence, nonviolence, slavery, freedom/liberty, gay people, women's "place", etc.
The Bible may never change, but how people look at it seems to change as often as fashion styles.

And since it is not the Bible I am facing, but people's actions based on their beliefs of what the Bible says, this is where energy should be devoted. She was uncomfortably silent. What do you think her response should have been.

servicemembers fighting in terrorism in harms way.

Again, how does it DIRECTLY put us in harms way?

Was there this much outrage when Geraldo Rivera was giving out coordinates? <--that I would say is DIRECTLY putting troops in harms way.

The Perfect Husband
Several men are in the locker room of a golf club. A cell phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands-free speaker- function and begins to talk. Everyone else in the room stops to listen. MAN: "Hello" WOMAN: "Honey, it's me. Are you at the club?" MAN: "Yes" WOMAN: "I'm at the mall now and found this beautiful leather coat. It's only $1,000. Is it OK if I buy it?" MAN: "Sure, go ahead if you like it that much." WOMAN: "I also stopped by the Mercedes dealership and saw the new 2007 models. I saw one I really liked." MAN: "How much?" WOMAN: "$65,000." MAN: "OK, but for that price I want it with all the options." WOMAN: "Great! Oh, and one more thing. The house we wanted last year is back on the market. They're asking $950,000." MAN: "Well, then go ahead and give them an offer, but just offer $900,000." WOMAN: "OK. I'll see you later! I love you!" MAN: "Bye, I love you, too." The man hangs up. The other men in the locker room are looking at him in astonishment. Then he smiles and asks: "Anyone know whose phone this is?"

Some people want their kids to look up to them with honor and respect and others want to relate to them as a friend...How much do you tell your child? Especially if you made seriously bad choices.

Recent story was published giving details about the Bush administration having access to financial transactions.

Here r the facts (source PBS The Newshour and BBC):
Bush admin was given access to the entire financial database. Bush admin claims they only 'looked' at international transactions. They did NOT get the required judge approval to investigate these records; therefore, broke US privacy laws.

Once again, all they had to do was get the necessary approval and this wouldn't be such an issue. AND ONCE AGAIN, the Bush admin. thinks it is above the law.

Now, I think this story is highly news worthy because I would like to know when privacy laws r being violated and I also would like to know every instance that Bush thinks he is above the law.

Bush has countered this by bombarding Fox News and talk radio with stories attacking the news agency that published this story stating. 'they weakened our country.. war on terror"

NO!!

Bush weakened our country by breaking the law AGAIN!

i'm sure teenagers would be unable to comprehend the thought, but for those of us that were teens in the 80s, we can remember that life existed without computers in every home.

i guess i'm a nostalgic type of person, but outside of ebay and homestar runner, i would not miss a world without internet connections. people get mad when i say i haven't read their email because i only check it once a week or so.

sometimes i just wish we could go back to a simpler time.
