Well, depending on the stranger ...
I would politely refuse spotted dick from a stranger that approached me on the street. If the spotted dick was from a waitress, I may accept. I would have a reasonable expectation that it was acceptable.
Since we are in the Joke category, I will leave you with this missive: You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose, but don't dick a stranger, even if he IS spotted!

First ask if it's the food he's offering. If so, enjoy! (Its actually a kind of desert. Tastes lovely with cream or custard). If it's not the pudding he's offering.... well, that's up to you.

It's a British concoction, a steamed, log-shaped suet pudding studded with currants. I guess you could eat it but it doesn't sound very appetizing!!
