Formula for linear slope is y=mx+b
5y=10x-10
Divide the 10x-10 and 5y by 5 to get
y=2x-2
-21+7y=14
Add -21 to both sides to get
7y=35 Hence y=5
x=-5 The slope is undefined. IF you graph the line and take two coordinates and use the formulas (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) you get 0 at the bottom. Anything divided by 0 is undefined.
Y-5=2 is add the 5 to both sides to get y=7
