yeah, u know what i'm talking about. Everyone knows at least one of them. Probably a co worker/manager, who runs to the bathroom every morning w/ his newpaper and cup of coffee. Or an employee who reeks up the place at a certain time each day. Cmon, really, one in the morning,one at night, in the comfort of your own freaking bathroom people!

our dog (a staffy) has one fat ear like it has fluid under the skin, happened in the other ear last year and has been like this for a few days now. Dosent seem to be causing any pain. Anyone know what it is?

I recently viewed "Broken Flowers" and thought it was a great film, but found it to be in possession of a frustrating ending! I believe that a good film should always make the audience wonder what happens next and shouldn't tie everything up in a perfect little package, but it seems that this film went a little too far. I mean, I really want to know who his son was!! It's driving me insane! What did you think?

I'm leaving for college in the fall and I recently found out who my roommate would be. I was excited and was trying to learn about her so that way I wouldn't end up offending her. I'm very open about my sexuality. I'm a lesbian. I'm in a relationship and when I'm single, I only flirt with people I know are like that. It saves me a lot of time and effort and keeps me under the hate radar most of the time.

My question is, should I be offended that this girl is changing on the basis of my sexuality even though I made it clear that she wasn't on my list of eligible people?

I'm looking at a friends computer right now (trying to fix it), because something is wrong with it. You power it on, nothing is displayed on the monitor. So I placed in a PCI video card, still nothing. The video card is fine. It's from my computer and I'm using it right now to use my computer.

So I took out the RAM, booted up the computer and it did not start making long beeping noises. So I thought the motherboard is bad.

I told him what I thought the problem was, and then told him how to order a new motherboard. It also came with new power supply.

After the new motherboard arrived, I placed it in the computer, along with the new power supply, and booted it up. Still, nothing was displayed on the screen. I took out the RAM and it started beeping at me. I knew the board must not be bad. So I place the RAM back in, and place the same PCI videocard back in the PC. Still nothing.

Could the CPU be bad, or have I over looked something here?

I went swimming on 2 occasions in 2 different pools and this same, gross, very strong, fishy odor was there. I had the Nuvaring in both times. I took the Nuvaring out, douched, and the smell went away. I was just wondering if this has happened with anyone else??? It made me feel so gross, so now, I don't swim, I'm afraid it will happen again and someone will smell it, its that strong.

It seems like nothing big has ever been cured, we just keep adding new diseases. Being diabetic, I thought this would be an easy cure because if your pancreas doesn't work islets of langerhorn can be injected into your pancreas and work to produce insulin. Problem is rejection by the body and taking pills to prevent rejection. It's like being right on the doorstep of a cure for one of the most common diseases in this world and sitting there waiting waiting waiting.

Now, I strongly believe that curing something like diabetes would take billions of dollars away from your major drug companies and also prolong the lifes of many millions. I believe that the powers that be would not want this.

My question is, has anything been cured in the past 100 years which is a disease? Does anyone know of any promising diabetic research?

Iam a male, I have very few friends if any, spend my weekends alone and I ponder the past alot. I used to have a group a friends that where like my brothers, some events happened and i pretty much have not talked to them in over 2 years. I graduate from college in a year they graduated this semester. I feel alone and I am wondering why I seem to be so uptight now and never was this way back then. Honestly though it cant be healthy to have no friends. I think im in that boat. Any advice!!! Sometimes I shy away from trying to meet new people, thinking that im screwed up and noone would want to be my friend... help
