How come America is called the land of the free? When I take a realistic look at this country not too many people here have actually been Free...For instance...
1.The Indians...How many of them do you see anymore..Manifest Desitiny??
2. The Africans?? Slaves for hundreds of years...and then just in the last 80 years did they really become free.
3. Immigrants/?? Today they come here to work for practically nothing in jobs we don't really want...so arent they technically slaves..
4. Chinese Railroad workers
5. Japanese who were put into interment camps during WWII?
We didnt intern German Immigrants during WWII...was it cuz they were white??
To me it seems that the only real free people ever in America were white people...so is it fair to everyone else to call this country Land of the free??

10 month old chihuahua is well behaved most of the time, but i cant get her to stop being scared of walks. She is mostly an indoor dog, and it's my fault. When people approach her she starts to bark and growl. It's really fustrating most of the time... I need some guidance. I get really nervous and scared when big dogs approach us.. she's tiny and i'm afraid her bark will get her hurt. But of course her bark is much more scarier than her bite..

one was a very pretty sky blue 7 the other was a very pretty bright green

It seems to me that Christian men (and no I am not referring to being extreme here) don't exist. I don't think that any men still want to follow Christ because they don't want to go against the grain of popular opinion, and Chrisitanity is definatly against the grain of popular opinion. I don't see any people who truly follow the Bible only the parts that they like.

I told you guys I would keep you informed. I had my daughter on Wednesday afternoon. She was 19 1/2 in long and weighed 7lbs 13oz. Well, last night was our first night home and she was awake from about 3pm until 7 then she slept for 4 hours and woke up and cried until 6am off ond on. She was clean and full so I dont know what was wrong. I tried everything. Singing, rocking, walking, talking, rubbing, patting etc... all to no avail! She finally went to sleep at about 7 this morning and had been asleep most of the day since then. I have tried to wake her so she can be alert for the day and asleep at night but she will only wake up for about 3-5 minutes and then she goes right back to sleep. Any suggestions? I think it's too early to say she has colic and I also know it was only night 1 but I'm not sure what to do if anything. (My firstborn was such a good baby from day 1 on so I am not used to this.) Thanks in advance everyone!

not politics as in government, but I am seeing a lot of people bashing on others religions, because they have thier own beliefes. can't you just let people pick what they want to believe in and let them be if you disagree?
does anyone else see religion as a gamble? you pick one and hope you picked the right one? does anyone else think we should enjoy this life while we have it and stop hating others for thier beliefs?
