A lot of this would depend on what area you live in, as many snakes are only found in certain locations. Some possibilities:

Blue racer: http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/snapshots/snakes_turtles/blueracer.html

Green snake (sometimes turns blue when excited and/ or dead):

-There are two different types, found in different locations.
the rough green snake (http://animaldiversity.ummz.umich.edu/site/accounts/information/Opheodrys_aestivus.html) and the smooth green snake (http://www.herpnet.net/Iowa-Herpetology/reptiles/snakes/smooth_green_snake.html)

There are more snakes that ae blue, but most of them are located outside the US.

Sorry, snakes scare me. I don't learn them because I run from all of them.
Try typing types of snakes in search engine or call the Croc Hunters Zoo

Gosh, the only blue snake I know of is the sea krate. Blue banding, very pretty, very venemous.

there are such things as blue racers and green racers, but red racers are more common in the species. that might explain the reason you haven't seen any since.
