not politics as in government, but I am seeing a lot of people bashing on others religions, because they have thier own beliefes. can't you just let people pick what they want to believe in and let them be if you disagree?
does anyone else see religion as a gamble? you pick one and hope you picked the right one? does anyone else think we should enjoy this life while we have it and stop hating others for thier beliefs?

I love watching religionists squirm. and yes, they are similar. every religion is simialr, people. you think your better and smarter than the other. well your not. your equal. sorry to burst the bubble of your happy sunday morning world. and jews need to understand that was a long time ago. I broke bread and offered it to a jew, and he threw it in my face for bieng a hippie. the truth is, we all believe in ahigher power, so what if I am preaching. and I did say, if you want to get your attitude on, then go somewhere else. kindness only here. remember to all the strong religionists, hate and unkind owrds are sins. ha, got you there. and NOW class is dismissed.

You're completely right. I am agnostic, I dont believe in organized religion as a whole, but I am very interested in learning about religions and why people follow them. I am constantly told that I am going to hell for my beliefs, and that I should pray to god and all this crap.
If thats what you want to believe and how you want to live your life than thats fine...but why do I have to believe in it too.
Theres so much hypocrasy in "religious" people today. I just think its so wrong to preach about acceptance and unconditional god love, and then go and spit at someone for having a different god than you, or none at all.

I am a Christian with a Baptist Denomination. Yes I was raised as a Christian and have been taught to pray believe in GOD. As an adult I still believe and have had experiences that prove my God is truly real and alive today. Now back to this politics thing....there is politics within the churhc leadership, there is definitely politics between demonitations. Good examples would be: Jahova Witness, Epistolic, Nation of Islam, Mormans, and Jesus Christ of Lader Day Saints. These religions have gotten a whole lot of heat. Mainly I see one of the reasons as being 'convience religions'. What I mean of conveince relgions, is that they take out parts of Holy Bible to use and create new rules and religions based on what they choose to believe or adopt. Then you got relgions that like to combine two or more religions together and call it another religion. I personally believe that as long as you know Jesus Christ, believe that he died for our sins, and believe in the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost), you don't have to declare a denomination just Christianity will do. Of course this is America, and everyone is entitled to their own religion practices, so it is not for me to put down other's religions, because that works for them and Christianity works for me.

Christian and Wiccan beliefs are not particularly similar at all.
Mormons are Christians.

We can agree and disagree with anyone but hate is not in it, just modified thinking correction if that is possible. If it isn't, then it isn't.I sometimes need my thinking changed. I consider that good.
