So, the war in Iraq wasn't part of the war on terrorism, but now it is? Interesting.............
I was convinced that the war in Iraq was a part of the war on terrorism. Damn, I freaking glad they got that fixed. Now, what about the Illegal immigrant thing. Can we get some action on that? No. It will have to wait until after the summer break. Just enough time for Americans to forget about it.

Thank you for the news story. I have been watching that and did not see the final resolution.

Having read many of the replies to your questions so far, all I can say is that we are heading toward some kind of conflict here in the US. What I find so interesting is that the loud mouthed, belligerent, name calling conservatives seem to be outnumbered by about four to one.

God may be on their side, but he was on the Kaiser's side in WWI, and Hitler's side in WWII. He was also on the CSA side in the Civil War, I might add. Funny how that works. I guess there must be different Gods, some are real some are fantasy.

I believe in taking troops to Iraq, but I also believe in having goals. The president telling us that we'll pull out someday is too vague for me. Taxpayers are speding billions, aren't we at least entitled to some specifics? I don't want to hear from the president how well he thinks the war is going the day before he pulls a couple more billions from congress. I want to know my money is being used wisely and not just being wasted.

You need to study some history .
This campaign has been BRILLIANT,compared to others, readup on the Iwo Jima Landing,D-Day, Gettysburg.
Since 1970 there have been 146 terrorist attacks on American CIVILIANS,nearly 4000 dead, over 2000 injured.
you want a pull out date? So do the terrorist!
They"d love to just sit back and wait
But we"re taking the fight to them and thats the only way to win.
Why don:t you join the Marines and find out the facts first hand

You're a retard. I'll add your name to the long list of numerous other retards I've found on this site.

Where the hell have you been? Why do you make statements on things if you don't have even the mental capacity to comprehend what it is you're talking about? Haven't you heard that there are BOMBINGS EVERY DAY IN IRAQ???? What do you think those guys who are blowing everything up want? THEY WANT THE U.S. TO PULL OUT!!! Why do you think they want us gone??? BECAUSE THAT MEANS THEY WILL HAVE CONTROL OF THE COUNTRY!!! What do you think they will do once they have control? PLOT ON AMERICA!!! What do you think the rest of the terrorists around the world will think??? LET'S GO TO IRAQ AND JOIN THEM!!!! YAY!!! Idiot.

It was a symbolic resolution, meaning it has no legal standing, but reflects their thoughts on things they cannot legislate on.

How is that going to undermine the USA?

Yes, it is just so undermining to commit to winning a war. Wow, what the heck were those reps thinking?

I hope so. Will we ever be able to extricate ourselves and not leave an even huger mess??? Why were we so arrogant to think we could go into a region an impose our western mindset on a whole people?

It is nice to see some of our politicians openly supporting our troops. Question: We fight there and we have had no terrorist attempts here. Coincidence? Or are we keeping the cowards too busy in other parts of the world.
