In this forum, you read things all the time like: "I'm a Christian, but I want to divorce my husband" "I'm a Christian, how do I end an affair?" "I'm a Christian, but I want to leave my marriage for another"

I could go on and on.

Do people that hide behind this bug you? lose all credibility with you? make you feel sorry for them? How does it make you feel?

If you use this line of reasoning, explain yourself.

If you believe in Christianity, does it bother you that people use it as an excuse or defense mechanism?

My parents keep telling me that any sex is bad and could lead to pregnancy. They don't explain the subject any further. Sometimes, I usually do self sex. Is that dangerous or lead me to any diseases or pregnancy? Like I said, my parents aren't willing to tell me.

Any watches that I wear start to corrode. I got a new Timex for Christmas and the side that faces my hand is already rotting(little holes, rough spots from pitted metal). My dad has a Seiko and his is okay. Whenever I wear new rings(anything except gold or platinum) they start to corrode and pit. Sometimes they even turn black on the inside and anywhere they touch my skin. Same thing for my dad.
Occasionally they'll even turn my fingers green(my husband and I bought matching engraved rings at Disney; mine turned black and my finger green and his was fine).
All my earrings have to be for sensitive ears or they get infected and the holes get black around the edges.
Anyone know why this happens or what causes it? Anything I can do to save myself from having to buy new watches ever 6 months - a year?

I live with my sister. I am ready to move out. She found out about a situation I had with a friend.(It wasn't a violent or physical thing) I regret her ever finding out now she does not want him over. Shouldn't that be my decision whether I have him over or not. Me and him have been through a lot and he has been there for me through my family problems. She is too opionated and I can not stand it. One year ago yesterday, my son and my nephew, my sister's son, were in a wreck. My son was driving. My nephew was killed. Since then, my entire family has fallen apart. My kids won't speak to me for reasons involving my mother, who has a histrionic personality disorder. I have effectively ended communication with my mother. My sister won't speak to me. I live alone, and feel so completely alone. I can't stop crying and I hurt so badly inside. I don't have anyone in my life that I can trust with my pain and sorrow. I just want someone who is genuinely concerned about how I feel and will maybe help me sort through some of this process of grieving and accepting death.

If women are in Gods image ( genesis 1 ) then why are they so oppressed in the church and christian circles ? Something tells me that women arent little parasites made to serve men..... Why would God suppress His own image ? especially the prettier part ?
