it could be less then $100.00 - you need to go to staples and purchase a divorce program , if you and he can work this out all it would take is filling out these papers and bringing them to your local town court - if there are no need for lawyers to divy up property , child support it is easy

Well that depends on the marital assets and if there are children involved. A big factor is whether or not it is contested. My husband left 3 1/2 years ago and in feb I started the divorce proceedings. 6 weeks and about $300.00 later I am officially divorced.

If you agree on terms, get the paperwork from the clerk of courts office, and fill it out to the best of you ability. They review it and you only need to pay filing fees. way under 500.

Why would it be any cheaper? Divorce is still divorce and costly... Save up some money and get one done!
