Lots of people on Yahoo! Answers were claiming the world would end (or something horribly bad would happen) yesterday, on 6-6-06 because of the "mark of the beast" number. Well, here we are...nothing out of the ordinary happened, we're still here. Anyone who was scared/worried about that day, or who claimed the world would end, like to comment on why it was so silly to believe it was a bad day? Hmm?

My husband and I rented a 2,600 sq. ft. 4 bedroom home with one of his friends who had a teenage son. It was only for 6 months. The friend moved out begaining of May into his girlfriends condo, and left his 14 year old son behind. He said he was old enough to watch himself. Two weeks before he moved out he went on vacation to Mexico, and left his son with us then as well. He was late with his rent, and bills. He only left his son $20.00 for the whole time he was away. Plus his son would leave the house and not tell us where he was going or doing. One day a parent of one of his friends brought him home because he was caught shooting nails at other peoples homes. We told his father and he didn't do anything about it. It was like he just dumped his kid off on us. Now we have moved out too this last weekend. We got all our stuff out. Plus we cleaned the whole house with no help from him or his son. Now he wants my husband to help him load up the rest of the crap he has sitting in the...

My son will be attending classes that do not offer refrigeration for lunches. I've thought about freezing juice boxes or can small carton's of milk be frozen?
Also, what to eat? He is allergic to peanuts/nuts, so peanut butter is out. Thanks for your input!

We recently brought in a stray cat. When he got treated with Advantage for some fleas, he scratched the back of his neck until it was bleeding and bald. I know he hasn't been properly taken care of and he was fairly malnourished when I took him in, so I am pretty sure the hair came out easily because of that. Anyone else ever encounter this? My other cats scratch themselves but have never pulled the hair out or bled. I am just looking for ways to get the little guy healthy again, so any suggestions to make his skin and fur stronger and healthier would be helpful!
