It all depends on how much money you're willing to spend. The best for the money is a mini-DVD camcorder. It's small and it films clear video. I have a panasonic. It works fine. But you could buy a mini-DVD made by Sony, JVC, etcs. The price usually runs from $350 to $450. Just wait for sales, they always pop up here and there. As far as difficulty to operate, it just takes a few days to get used to it. Because the mini-DVD camcorders are small, you need to be careful on pressing buttons.

i would not bypass to Walmart to purchase a digital camera, they are frequently backside of the line fashions. bypass to maximum suitable purchase, Circuit city and so on. Sony in all hazard is your maximum suitable wager for high quality and reliability. even however, the DVD media can get high priced and Sony prefers which you employ there form of disc for compatibility motives.

get minidv cams instead. you can get similar minidvs for around the same price, and they offer better picture quality. unless you plan on watching your movies right after shooting, go for minidvs, because they retain their quality after editing. if in doubt, go to www.camcorderinfo.com i recommend getting a pv-gs250 or 300 (panasonic) because they offer 3ccds and they arent too expensive either. i am getting a pv-gs400 myself in july, which is around $1000 US but they are hard to get now.
