This category is called "Religion & Spirituality" not, "HEY CHRISTIANS, FLOOD THE MESSAGE BOARD".
Had to vent.
Now here's the question:
Do many Christians even think about the fact that their saviour was Jewish? A man went around telling others how he felt, but never did he say that he was anything other than Jewish. And why do Christians take one book over another? One telling over another? The Bible has been rewritten and retold many times, though the core of the belief hasn't changed much, many details have. And why do so many keeping telling others to "Let Jesus into their lives." Doesn't your religion say to "love thy neighbor"? Not "convert all you can do believe in what you believe"? If you are suppose to love and accepct others, why can't you accepct those of us how do not want your religious figure into our lives? Why can you only be my friend until you discover I'm atheist?

She has two kids. I want to call social services and/or the police to wake her up but she's my sister and I love her. I fear for my nieces because she has numerous unknowns at her home at all hours of the day and nite. She is constantly asking my parents for money to help pay bills and buy food even though she works and gets food stamps. I know she is using her money to feed her habit. She has only confessed to smoking weed to me but I've heard rumors about crack. She dropped out of school and has a court order to get her GED but she won't do it. I think it's time for a wake up call but I don't know how to do it.

I've just spent 40 minutes crying my eyes out at my psychiatrist's appointment and I don't really know why........

I was talking about some of the stuff that's been going on recently, and then somehow ended up talking about my Granny dying, which happened 3 years ago and I thought I was totally over the grief from that.......but it seems I'm not. It's just weird, because I thought I was over all that, and I don't know where the tears came from.

Now I just feel embarrassed, I hate crying in front of people. And I wasn't even feeling THAT bad today when I went to the appointment.......

have you ever found yourself crying over something you didn't think you were upset about? How did you feel afterwards? Because now I feel really strange, kind of numb.

I'll get in my car to go somewhere and my gear wont shift down to Reverse or any gears. I sit there yanking on it and I'll sit there for about 10 minutes and I'll keep trying... sooner or later my gear will shift down to what i need but its such a pain in the butt becuz i'm always running late. I'm stepping on my brakes before i shift, im turning my wheel.. nothng seems to work... what is the cause of this? My car is an Automatic year 1998.. PLEASE... any help will do me good...
