When water is drained from a tank through a drain hole, the whirl developed on the water surface spins in the anticlockwise direction always in any where in India. But my friend in Australia is arguing with me that it is in clockwise direction always. which one is correct?

I had many dreams since my childhood regarding my studies,career,husband family.I was an intelligent till high school but then due to some reasons I couldn't do well in my college and therefore could never become what I dreamt of.My husband too is not what I wished like.I can't work due to some reasons hence is always drepressed doing nothing except household chores.I am 30 now.Life seems like a burden to me.I don't have any friends as we have moved to a new city ,a metro city, where people do not have any time to socialize.I live 800 miles away from parents.We have a very small house.My husband is also struggling in his career.I have a child for whom I feel pity as he has no one to play with.I am most of the time too depressed hence is never able to play with him.I have severe back ache also. Am I worth living.I am of no use to anyone.I feel guilty as I am not a good mother.How to take out this sadness from my life?

For about two years I have been down about my looks and what girls think of me. Almost so much that it interferes with everything else in my life. I am too dazed, confused and too drowned in what women looks for looks-wise in a man, and feel that I am doomed if I can't aspire to these. I felt that no girls were attracted to me and instead I was ridiculed, laughed at etc. Whenever it appears that someone might like me, I just feel it is too good to be true.

- green eyes
- not muscular nor abs (my real concern is that I actually have a hole in my ribcage- just another cursing from God)
- two scars by my eye from childhood (some horrible girl at school called them 'cat scratches')
- I used to have a big nose, but I had a nose job and I feel so much better for doing it
- teeth- a little overcrowded on the bottom and my eye-teeth do stick out, but fine otherwise

I dwell too much on being a second-rate Brad Pitt and not on being a first rate ME, because being ME is bad- apparently.

I work as an exams invigilator at the moment, and its so incredibly boring, but i need the experience and stuff so i gotta stay there. But its so incredibly boring - we have to just stand, in the silence, till the exams over - we can't sit down or read or do anything except stand. Yesterday i found myself even making up maths problems in my head and solving them!! (sad i know - but i was so bored)...... Any ideas to make time pass quicker? - what do you do when you are bored?................

I had a job interview yesterday and one of the interview questions was "tell me what animal you would like to be most and why." For some reason, the first thing that came to my head was a "three-toed sloth". I had to explain my choice, and I said "because they don't do anything all day." the interviewer basically gave me a look that was like "oooooooook" and was weird the rest of the interview. did i hurt my chances?

Now, when you edit your answer, in the main screen it doesnt show that you have modified your answer.. I answered a question, no one had given the correct answer before me. But when i got back to that question some time later, i was shocked to see that a person who had answered before me(and had the wrong answer) had now changed his answer to mine...Now the questioner will think that this person answered first!!! Isnt it unfair?? If its like this, then i can answer a question with whatever rubbish i want , and later, after seeing other answers, change it!!! I think the earlier system was better!! What do u guys think?? And those of you who want to say "Wrong Category", i dont have to clarify to you!!

U get all these little emails that go around saying I have sent you 8 Angels for good luck or Wealth etc... Which is utter rubbish...
