Exodus 4:24

First question: Why did God try to do such a thing?

(If you are not familiar with this, it tells of a situation where God met him passing in the hallway at the hotel, and suddenly tried to kill him.)

Second question: Why did God not succeed in killing him? We know God didn't succeed, because later the guy is still alive.

You needn't tell me who it was God tried to kill, I already know.

What? Oh, you want me to quote the passage verbatim?

"And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the Lord met him, and sought to kill him."

What? Yes, the word 'Lord' means God.
I'm collecting all Bible passages where he tried to do something, but couldn't.

Me & a friend do dinner every Wednesday just to get together and catch up. I moved to another city after just getting to know this girl who is really friendly. We contact each other sometimes, kind of flirt sometimes. I told her I got a new job and they need more people and she joked 'will they give me a job'. I kind of went all shy when she said this (as I like her). What does this mean? I had a dream it was the first day of school and me and my ex-boyfriend (we just broke up 2 days ago) were walking together in the hall. But everytime he'd leave to go to his locker or class I wouldn't be able to walk anymore...not that I was paralized or hurt but my feet were like really heavy and when I tried to move them I'd fall down. But when he was back next to me I'd be able to walk again.

Okay, let me get a little more specific.

It's a Toshiba Satellite (P series), and it has Windows Vista in it. I purchased the laptop not knowing the cd drive did not work, and I got it all the way I want it, so I really do not want to take it back and get a new one.

cdrom.sys is a Windows system file that is operating system specific.. in my case, its with Vista. When I was in the device manager, it said the driver could not be loaded because its either missing or corrupt, I know that its there, so its corrupt.

Is there anyone out there that can copy and paste this file to me or have a link to somewhere I can download it? Toshiba's and Windows' website was not helpful (what a suprise, right?)

Just wondering what everyone thought about this. Do board presses, bands, chains, floor presses or any other form of lockouts help your raw bench. Personally i believe they do. It builds bar speed and power by lifting heavier weight at the top of the lift than you could through a full ROM. However i have heard alot of people say that they are only for equipment and straight sets and pause reps are the best for raw lifts.

I remember, years ago, I played a top-down arcade game that involved Indy cars. For the life of me, I have no idea what it was.

I don't think it was super sprint but it was the exact same style. This game, your car could catch fire and this little man would hold your colour up indicating you to pit (I don't think super sprint had pits).

Anyone know of what game this might be? What other games like super sprint existed?

A woman put in a phone call to the police, complaining that her next door male neighbor walked around the house nude, and that she could see him plainly through his large glass door.

The officer assured her that he was probably harmless, but that he'd go over to her house and take a look to see if he did anything disturbing.
