Well, thanks, sweetie, and you're right - get a designated driver. NO party or drink is worth dying or killing someone over. That's why we're all crashing at the party givers house tonite (and who knows what will happen!).

Amen Tilly. I worked EMS for 12+ years, and always took the New Years Eve shift as a trade off for Christmas with my family. The luster of celebrating the New Year quickly vanished. It's no fun informing a family that their loved one died in a drunk driving collision (they are NOT accidents people!) and I have had to deal with it far too many times to feel like celebrating any more. Far too many memories...

Yeah, my father is a firefighter and I know it's always a pain when he has to ruin his New Years night by pulling some totalled car out of a ditch (or worse) because poeple were drunk... Happy New Years, Dont be stupid!
