If you were in Little Rock, Arkansas, and wanted to go on a road trip because you're new to the state and know nothing about your surrounding states, and just want to take a 1 day or weekend road trip, where would you suggest? No camping, no kids, just stuff like, plantations, or riverboats, or Texas, whats to see around here?

My hubby and I are thinking about going to Key West for a few days. What would be a good place to stay, close to the beach and nightlife? And not to expensive. ;-)

We hope to travel from Ireland to Austin, stopping off at a major city (Ny, Chicago, Atlanta?) for 3 days, before travellign on to Austin. Then stay in Austin and then hire a car, drive to New Mexico stay a week there, and fly back home from Albuequerque. We can't find a website which can accomodate all this complexity. Can you help??????????? Also is it actually cheaper to book it all as one package rather than flight by flight????

if i move, ill be starting high school as a freshman there, which will be a big change.
ive heard sometimes texas highschools can be a little competitive and overbearing compared to missouri.

My husband, 3 year old and I will be driving across the US. Starting in NC, visiting in Minnesota, and continuing on to our new home in Eureka, California. I have never been to the western part of the country and am looking for advice as to the absolute best things that must be seen between Minn. and Eureka. We will probably be camping since we won't be leaving until this summer. We plan on taking approx. a month for the entire trip. Any ideas?
