My family and I are planning a road trip to Mall of America in Bloomington Minnesota in July. I've been there once before and stayed at a very nice hotel. This time we just want something close and not to expensive. We will only be there for 2 nights. Anyone know of any cheap but nice hotels within 5 miles of MoA?

I am looking to take my best friend on a vacation as a graduation gift. I need ideas on where to go. We are both in our mid 20's. We are not huge partiers but we do like to go out and have a good time.

Here are the restrictions.... It must be in the US...Neither one of us have a passport.

We do NOT want to go to the following states. (Been there done that):

California
Illinois
Florida
Nevada
Minnesota
Wisconsin

Keeping the restrictions in mind, do you have any ideas of a good vacation destination? If so tell me why it's a good idea.

Thanks in advance!

In June we will be vacationing in the OuterBanks. It will take us 14 hours to get there. We will be making this trip in one day. I have a an 11-year old daughter, a 2 year-old son, and a 1-year old son. I am looking for any suggestions on how to make the trip go as "cry-free" as possible! Also, does anyone know of where I can purchase some items for the car such as a head rest (for when the kids are sleeping) or possibly a tray for the car seat? Thanks!

1- Safety (low crime rate)
2- Facilities (hospitals, parks, restaurants, theatres, etc)
3- Friendliness to new-comers
4- Prosperity (standard of living: slaries compared to prices)
5- Cleanliness of the city and its suburbs (compared to other American cities)
6- A chance to date beautiful women and marriage
7- Easiness of the traffic to major cities, such as NYC and Philadelphia.

My husbands company is taking a trip to hawaii next year..my daughter will be 1 year old by then. Im just curious if anyone has any experience going on a week long trip somewhere with a baby that young. Even if i dont go, my husband is going to go without me and bring a friend or someone else so i really want to try to go but im afraid that i'll regret being over there with our 1 year old. I am not going to leave her and go by myself with my husband, either she goes with me or i dont go. Anyone have any advice about going or not going?
