I am looking to take my best friend on a vacation as a graduation gift. I need ideas on where to go. We are both in our mid 20's. We are not huge partiers but we do like to go out and have a good time.

Here are the restrictions.... It must be in the US...Neither one of us have a passport.

We do NOT want to go to the following states. (Been there done that):

California
Illinois
Florida
Nevada
Minnesota
Wisconsin

Keeping the restrictions in mind, do you have any ideas of a good vacation destination? If so tell me why it's a good idea.

Thanks in advance!

How about the US Virgin Islands St. Thomas, St. Croix, and St. John. You do not need a passport and its definetly nice, beaches caribbean and a bit more exotic than going to Kansas...lol

I know that you said you were not interested in Florida, but given that you are going at the end of Feb, that sort of limits you as far as good weather. What's wrong with the Keys? You could try Arizona: Tempe or Scotsdale are both cool cities. Good luck...

Here are a few. Grand Canyon. It is very cool. Also, try Washington D.C. You can't go wrong with it. Lots of neat things to do and see there. If you want to save a little money, try hostels. Check them out. Enjoy your graduation. Play now because the real world sucks. :)
