I love Raleigh. We are in the middle of the state with the beach and mountains within a few hours of us. We have a wonderful climate with four distinct seasons. (I love to see the trees change and am looking forward to spring.) We have low unemployment, great schools, museums, the Hurricanes Hockey team, the Durham Bulls ball team and lots of community involvement. Raleigh and our surrounding cities are growing at a fast pace with an influx of new arrivals.

My vote is for Maine.

Beautiful coastline, great lakes, and amazing seafood.

I've lived in MA, VT, CA, HI, and GA and I've travelled alot of other states, but Maine is the best. Someday it will be my home.

Cary, North Carolina. No crime, close to larger cities (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill). Clean, nice, and streetlights everywhere. It's great.
