We are traveling across the south and we will be stopping some where near Cookeville. We had a very bad experience at a well know motel in North Little Rock Ark. There were holes in the sheets. The carpet was not clean, and there continental breakfast was a joke.

We are looking for a reasonable rate for two people.

I would appreciate any and all info on both cities. Is it easy or hard to find a place(in my case,I would prefer a house to an apartment or condo)to live? If you can tell me how to prepare for the change in weather(I live in Florida now),I think that's one of the things I need to know most. Also,my contract is for a year with the option to renew when it's up;anyway,my point is that before the first year is up,I would need to find a school for my daughter(she'll be 6 in June)and I'd like to know what the schools are like. I've already tried to find out stuff but all I could find was the official city websites;I'd really like to hear from people who live there or have lived there!!!!! Can anyone point me to any forums/message boards/chat rooms where there are people from either city there?!? Also, the few places I saw for rent said "No Pets";can't have that cause I feel I'm making enough changes in my daughter's life by moving;I won't make her give up her cherished cat!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

The other day we went for a drive on the Blueridge Parkway. What a beautiful drive, however, very few rest stops. I think maybe only 2 have those portable toilets. Anyway, I was really desparate for a pee and knew there were not any toilets around. So, when we got to one of the overlook spots, I just took a nice long walk down a trail and popped a squat behind some trees. I am curious if any other ladies have some good stories of desparation?

We are considering moving to Boise or the out skirts of Boise. We are coming from a small/medium size town where there are too many people, no kind people and too high priced in everything. I am looking for a good town to raise a family in.

Anyone know of a good town to live in?
Where are the good jobs located?
What is the average rate of pay?
What do houses go for rent out there?
What is living like out there?
What is the best way to find all the information needed to relocate up there?
Is there a place online I can find pictures of the houses and towns around Boise?

I know there's more questions I would like to ask but can not think of them at the moment. So any information that you could give me about the towns, finding employment, a home and relocation information up there would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. You could also email me lilsxyzoe@yahoo.com
